What they’re asking for
USSOCOM wants industry solutions for FANTOM’s scalable autonomy architecture: distributed, collaborative behaviors across Group 2–3 A2E uncrewed platforms. Named areas: novel autonomy behaviors (mission adaptation, swarm coordination, sensing, navigation, task allocation, distributed decision-making, targeting, tracking); behavior maturation and validation; and SDK integration paths (packaging, versioning, simulation evaluation, flight-integration readiness). FANTOM Extensions are described as mature (high TRL) vendor add-ons. Desired outcomes: a catalog of proposed behaviors, an assessment of SDK integration skill, and vendor recommendations for a next phase.
How to respond
A white paper on the SOFWERX template plus the submission form, NLT 5 Nov 2026. Optional virtual Q&A 20 Oct 2026, 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. ET (RSVP by 19 Oct). Review the posted assessment criteria first.
